Cattle farming

Where do the steaks, roast and other delicious cuts of beef that we so enjoy come from? Undoubtedly from our organisation of beef and veal producers, the leader in Brittany.

Quality value and support chains

Our priorities are to satisfy consumer demand and provide added value to cattle production, by reinforcing longstanding quality value chains, particularly the different labels (for the Limousin, Blonde d’Aquitaine and Charolais breeds) and Carrefour’s initiatives (Carrefour Quality Lines: Charolais and Normande Quality Lines). The goal is also to sign contracts with downstream partners for the production of young bovines (YB) and beef heifers. To be able to maintain production in the long run, we are banking on our technical and economic support for our farmers and encourage young farmers to get set up.

Among other benefits, our members have the opportunity to sell their livestock via two channels. The first is sale at auction through Coral Bretagne Sud in Ploërmel (Morbihan). Weekly auctions are held there for eight-day-old calves, beef cattle and weanlings. The second channel is through our sales team based at the allotment centre in Glomel (Côtes-d’Armor) and allows Breton suckler farmers to get the most for their weanlings and livestock feeders to procure animals.
