CSR Challenge, Eureden chooses to help 2 associations

Published on 02 February 2021

The winners of the CSR challenge organised at be-eureden during the Sustainable Development Week, the employees of the Eureden Long Life branch chose to give their prize to two associations. #EuredenUnited #EuredenCommitted

At the canning factory d’aucy in Castelmoron-sur-lot (47), Olivier Masnin, plant director, handed over a cheque for €1,000 to the association Faire rêver les enfants malades. Based in Lot-et-Garonne, the association was created in 2015 with the primary aim of offering a break for children with serious illnesses. It intervenes in hospitals, offering gifts to hospitalised children; it collects childcare equipment for paediatric services, games, toys, books… The association also helps parents, morally and financially.

At the head office of the Eureden Long Life branch in Theix, Karen Goulard CSR manager, Nicolas Ollivier, HR manager and Stéphanie Giorgi, CSR referent for the branch, handed over a cheque for €1,000 to the association Les mains dans le sable. The association organises cleanings on the beaches of Finistère, Morbihan, Vendée and Charente Maritime. It’s not just about the rubbish left on the beach by users, but also about what we all produce through our lifestyles and consumption patterns! In addition, the association organises, in schools or companies, awareness sessions on man-made pollution in nature followed, in most cases, by beach collection.
