For three days, from September 15th to 17th in Rennes, SPACE provided Eureden with an opportunity to engage in numerous discussions with its farmer-cooperative members, agricultural professionals, partners, local stakeholders, candidates, and visitors. At this year's event, water was a central theme, alongside the challenges of performance, adaptation, and generational renewal.
At its booth, Eureden presented concrete solutions and initiatives to support farms in adapting to changes in their environment and contribute to their long-term viability.
Resource availability, consequences of drought episodes, adaptation of farms: water has emerged as a central issue for agriculture.
Eureden had made it the central theme of its activities at SPACE, with a dedicated space allowing visitors to test their knowledge, answer a quiz and exchange ideas about the issues related to water management.
This issue was also central to the meeting with Annie Genevard, Minister of Agriculture , Food Processing, and Food Sovereignty , who visited the Eureden stand. Welcomed by Dany Rochefort, Chairman of the Group , she discussed water availability, the impact of drought on agricultural and food processing activities, and the adaptation needs of farms with the teams.
These are issues that directly affect the daily lives and future of our farmer-cooperative members, and on which Eureden is fully mobilized alongside them.
The forage exchange platform , presented at the stand, also illustrates this desire to promote solidarity between farmers in the face of the risks encountered on farms.
With the theme “Committed together to performance” , the Eureden stand highlighted four levers: profitability, anticipation, transmission and management .
The Eureden Progress Groups shared concrete solutions with visitors to address energy consumption: eco-driving, equipment adjustments, investments, and management tools.
The Farm Strategy Hub , for its part, facilitated discussions on farm establishment, transfer, and diversification. These are essential topics for securing projects and contributing to generational renewal in agriculture.
Digital technology has also found its place in supporting this performance, with demonstrations of My Eureden and My Eureden I Buy . These tools notably simplify orders and save time for cooperative farmers in their daily work.
SPACE was also an opportunity to renew collaborations to accelerate innovation in the service of agriculture and agri-food.
Eureden has thus renewed its partnership with Le Village by CA Finistère , as part of a regional dynamic with the Villages by CA network in Brittany, and more particularly with Le Village by CA Finistère, recognized for its expertise in the fields of agriculture and agri-food.
The objective: to identify, test, and accelerate innovations beneficial to agricultural and agri-food activities , by fostering synergies between startups, established companies, researchers, and local stakeholders. Precision agriculture, decarbonization, robotics, artificial intelligence, and sustainable resource management are among the areas in which these collaborations can contribute to strengthening the performance and resilience of Breton agriculture.
Another highlight of the trade show was the signing of a partnership with IEL – Initiatives & Énergies Locales , focusing on renewable energy projects. This collaboration specifically involves supporting agrivoltaic projects on poultry ranges and rooftop photovoltaic projects , with the aim of offering solutions tailored to farms and their energy challenges.
Beyond meetings with professionals and cooperative farmers, SPACE has helped to strengthen dialogue with institutional and territorial actors .
A delegation from the Brittany Chamber of Agriculture and local elected officials from Ille-et-Vilaine visited the Eureden teams. This visit reflected a strong desire to foster mutual understanding and strengthen ties between local elected officials and our Breton agricultural and agri-food sectors.
This special moment was an opportunity to discuss current issues, particularly the challenge of water storage and sharing, to recall the specifics of the cooperative model and to share our vision for supporting agricultural dynamics at the heart of the territories.
The show also allowed the Human Resources teams to present the diversity of jobs and opportunities offered by Eureden, as well as allowing visitors to discover the Group’s products through culinary demonstrations.
From water management to farm performance, from transmission to innovation, from energy projects to generational renewal, this edition of SPACE has allowed for the exchange of perspectives and the sharing of concrete answers to the challenges facing agriculture.
These three days have highlighted a key conviction: providing long-term support to cooperative farmers requires addressing farm performance, adaptability, and future prospects. This approach is based on proximity, cooperation, and innovation.
