As a Breton cooperative food group, Eureden was once again a partner of the Forum Économique Breton (FEB) this year, and took an active part in the debates. The theme for 2023 was "Reinventing models for regenerative growth".
The forum aims to be the first major collaborative forum in Brittany, providing an opportunity to think about and co-construct the Brittany of the future. For Eureden, it's an opportunity to exchange ideas with private-sector players and to share its vision of societal issues and key messages with local players.
Eureden organised a plenary session devoted to “Building a shared vision of Breton agriculture in the service of food sovereignty and regional development” with Serge Le Bartz, Chairman of Eureden, Dominique Schelcher, Chairman and CEO of Système U, Arnaud Lécuyer, Vice-President of Agriculture, Agri-food and Food for the Brittany Region, and Sébastien Abis, Director of the Démeter Club.
Nicolas Facon, Deputy Managing Director of Eureden Long Life, spoke about the development of the food offer.
Karen Goulard, Head of CSR, led a round-table discussion on CSR: “CSR, a lever for differentiation and contribution to overall performance“, with testimonials from Margaux Maugen, HR Manager at d’aucy Le Faouet and Paul-Gilles Chedaleux, farmer and founder of Terremo’logic, a Breton company that recycles eggshells.
Didier Le Guellec, Director of Vegetables Industry at Eureden, also spoke on the subject of water scarcity in food production and processing.
Cédric Lombard, Director of Innovation, M&A, Development and Purchasing, took part in a conference on sustainable innovation.
Finally, CEO Alain Perrin took part in a live broadcast, FEB TV. It was an opportunity for him to discuss the following subjects: climate change, inflation and food sovereignty.
